DAVIS WISENHUNT wishes to thank those great masters -- Brecht, Grotowski, Stanislavsky, and Brook -- for guiding him and showing him the manifest possibilities of theatre. He is deeply honored and thrilled to be a Producer and Founding Member of The Play Group and hopes he can do justice to the work of Eric Henry Sanders's The Double in their premiere production. As Artaud said, "The theater, which is in no thing, but makes use of everything -- gestures, sounds, words, screams, light darkness -- rediscovers itself at precisely the point where the mind requires a language to express its manifestations. To break through language in order to touch life is to create or recreate the theatre."
