There’s a lot of wild and zany creatures out there. And when you set out on a long journey, you usually come across a few. Today it was the Asian Carp. Tomorrow? Who knows?

Its Adventure Day 11 today. An annual tradition that we started back in 1998 to celebrate adventure, good friends, and nostalgia for times lived right now. With Tyler, Brent, and Devin in town… I think we’re doing well keeping the tradition.

    My father-in-law was talking about those jumping fish just last night! It made me think of you guys. He said they get freaked out by boat engines and that’s why they jump. Some people have even made a sport of trying to shoot them with arrows as they come out of the water, but I thought your frying pans were pretty inventive!

    Asian carp in North America is considered an invasive species detrimental to indigenous fish. You guys should have probably eaten them in reality.

    I’ve been fishing for more than 20 years, and that was one of the craziest things that’s ever happened to me. Never seen anything like it. Pretty amazing.
